After meeting as children growing up in Las Vegas, Jamie and C. J. had not seen each other in decades. They were reconnected at family friend Karen and Randy Campanale’s house in 2023 for Karen’s birthday party.

Their first date involved a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon and began a courtship that celebrated their mutual love of the outdoors. Over the past few years, they have enjoyed skiing and hiking across the US. Their travels have taken them to Utah, Florida, New Mexico, California, Arizona, New Orleans, Lake Tahoe, New York and London, UK just to name a few places. This past February the couple got engaged after a repelling course in Zion, Utah.

New Mexico holds special family memories for C. J., as he grew up visiting his grandmother, Shirley Dwyer, in Albuquerque throughout his childhood. Last autumn, he took Jamie to Los Poblanos to explore the property and visit the state known as “The Land of Enchantment.” CJ and Jamie look forward to celebrating their nuptials with you at Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Lavender Farm this summer on August 2, 2025.
